IU THE.MES.TER

“Themester” poster is designed for promoting a program that combines academic courses, public lectures and exhibits, film showings, and other events to engage students and the entire community in a collective learning experience about a timely—even urgent—issue.

2020 Themester is focused on “Democracy.” This poster using a red warning light as background to warn people, the emergency of our Democracy in 2020, how fake news, messages, big data control our own opinion on social media. Using the coding number as a texture on the human with phone and peace bird in the poster hopes to let people reflect on the dark side of the collapsing democracy. This poster design is awarded and published on the Themester website.
